Towards a radical new understanding of existence and reality

The transition from a materialist to a post-materialist science and philosophy would signify a major paradigm shift wherein vIsionary scientists and other thinkers could arrive at a new and beneficial understanding of cosmos and consciousness by repudiating the ‘metaphysics of materialism’.

I am in agreement with those who believe the prevailing materialist paradigm is destructive and limits human abilities and potential, and needs to be replaced by a more accurate, expansive and useful understanding of reality.

Scientific methods based on materialist philosophy have proved highly successful, of course, having led to a wider understanding of nature, as well as to the social benefits of technological advances. However, the almost absolute dominance of materialism in the academic world has stifled science and hindered development of the study of mind, consciousness and spirituality.
