The ‘mind-virus’ waging war on consciousness

‘This totalitarian virus has been invisibly pushing boundaries, getting away with whatever it can as it slowly and surreptitiously extends its reach … This mental virus is slowly creeping and potentially taking over our global body politic as it puts its roots down all over the planet, as well as within our minds.’ Paul Levy

Time for change is rapidly running out with the world sickening from a ‘cancer of the soul’, socially, politically and economically, under increasingly psychopathic and totalitarian systems threatening technocratic tyranny and digital enslavement as control and governance is wrested from the will of the people.

Underlying the destructive collective insanity and evil currently playing out in society on so many fronts is a ‘virus of the mind’ — what Native Americans would call wetiko, a cannibalistic spirit which can take people over, subverting life’s purpose to selfishness, cupidity and cruelty, undermining innate powers of creativity, and rendering the human race its own worst enemy.

Once more we’re reminded of this curse, this ‘psychic blindness’, by Paul Levy in his new book, Undreaming Wetiko: Breaking the spell of the nightmare mind-virus (Inner Traditions/Sacred Planet, May 2023) which completes an indispensable wetiko trilogy, following Wetiko: Healing the mind-virus that plagues our world
