George Mitrovic: at the gateways of the multiverse.

The story of the Australian author George Mitrovic is extraordinary. Now with no fewer than 130 books to his name, he has written more on world mysteries than anyone else. His writing career marks him out as a unique figure in the genres of anomalous phenomena investigation and revisionist researches into ancient civilisations and global cataclysm

By the time he was a teenager, George Mitrovic was captivated by the realms of the mysterious and the bizarre.

He’d discovered The Allende Letters, by the ufologist Morris K Jessup, about the ‘Philadelphia Experiment’, the alleged teleportation of a US naval ship during an attempt to make it invisible. George pored over The Morning of the Magicians by Pauwels and Bergier, and soaked up tales of Atlantis, UFOs and cryptozoology.

‘An incredible, unbelievable world was opening up in front of me,’ he said. ‘It fascinated me.’

George also came upon the writings of the physicist William R Corliss who had set up the Sourcebook Project dealing with anomalous phenomena including cryptozoology, out-of-place artifacts and UFOs, among other subjects.
